Hey Friends! Hope you are good, I have some new music for you!

These songs are a bit of a strange mix in some ways, a couple of them were written over lockdown, as a kind of cathartic excersise, to help me process the sudden loss of my best friend a couple of years ago and pay tribute to him, which has been more helpful than I could have imagined.

1608 is a number that Dunbar used to see everywhere and always wondered aloud if it had some meaning, me being the eternal skeptic, always laughed at him when he would randomly point at a clock or a sign or something and say "see man, I'm tellin ye, there it is again!" Now that he's gone, I seem to keep seeing 1608 all the time! I don't draw any greater meaning from it but it reminds me of him and makes me smile.

"You begin" is an old song I've had for many years, we played it in Panama Kings and also live as ABC but somehow never got to record properly until now and "Adrift" started as a demo for ASIWYFA but didn't quite make the cut through the rigorous writing process but I always enjoyed it.

These songs have all stuck around in my head so much that I thought it made sense to put them all out into the world and see if I can get them stuck in your head instead! I hope they make you feel better about things or at least make you think about something else for a while, if that's what you need, they've helped me anyway!
